Mr Abouzeid has been a gynaecologist for more than 25 years. He graduated from medical school in 1983 and later in his career obtained the membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in the year of 1994. In the last twenty years he has developed more skills and experience in gynaecological subspecialties.
He holds an MSc degree in advance gynaecological endoscopy from Surrey University in UK and received the RCOG's certificate in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, his accreditation for colposcopy from the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP), and RCOG's advanced training in gynaecological ultrasonography.
Currently, Mr Abouzeid is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. He is the lead for gynaecological oncology and colposcopy at the Trust.
