Mr Indy Shargill undertook his undergraduate training at Birmingham Dental School. He started his postgraduate training in Orthodontics in Manchester and obtained the MOrth.RCS and MPhil in Orthodontics. To continue his training he moved across the Pennines and started a senior registrar post in Leeds and obtained the FDS(Orth) RCS. Mr Shargill is now based as a consultant in Telford and at the Birmingham Dental Hospital. As a consultant, he undertakes treatment of multi-disciplinary patients with severe facial disharmony and patients with hypodontia. In addition, he is involved in teaching and training orthodontic trainees and dental practitioners in West Midlands and Greater Manchester. Mr Shargill is affiliated with both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and examiner for the MFDS.RCS, Diploma of Orthodontic Therapy and Membership in Orthodontics for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In addition, he has examining responsibilities for the Overseas Registration Examination for the GDC. As well as various publications and involvement in research, Mr Shargill has presented and lectured in the UK, Europe and the United States of America.
