Academic Background

Mr Arthur completed his Laparoscopic and Robotic Colorectal training and certification in Singapore at the renowned Singapore General Hospital Colorectal Unit. He was appointed to the Consultant General and Colorectal post in 2008 in Aintree Hospital.

Mr Arthur is the Trust Surgical Lead in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the Colorectal Lead in the Regional Neuro Endocrine Tumour MDT. He is a national trainer in THD (Trans-anal Haemorrhoidal De-arterialisation) for haemorrhoids, and prior to reverting to this procedure, he performed over HALOs (Haemorrhoidal Artery Ligation Operation).
