Mr Mohammad Ashraf Khan Raja is a Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust in Surrey. He graduated from King Edward Medical College Lahore Pakistan in 1984 and received his basic surgical training in Mayo Hospital Lahore, Pakistan and acquired Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) in 1991. After obtaining his FRCSI 1991 and FRCS (Eng) 1992, he joined South West Thames Higher Surgical Training Scheme. During this training, he completed MSc in Surgical Sciences in1996 from University of London, Diploma in Medical Education in 1997 from Cardiff and Intercollegiate FRCS in 1998. He achieved his certificate of completion of surgical training (CCST) in 1999. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals. Mr Raja is involved in teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students and nurses. He is a tutor for endoscopy course Royal College of Surgeons England, Assessor for Royal College of Surgeons England, Director of Clinical Audit, Director of Medical Education and Clinical Lead for Endoscopy in Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust.
