Mr Martin Evans is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgeon at The Westbourne Centre in Birmingham.
Martin has experience in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, but has a specialist interest in dentoalveolar surgery (e.g. wisdom teeth, jaw cysts) temporomandibular joint disorders, facial trauma and surgery of facial deformity. In addition, Martin provides medicolegal reports for personal injury claims relative to the craniofacial region.

Mr Martin Evans is an Oral and Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgeon with an NHS practice at Birmingham Childrens and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. Martin undertook his training in Dentistry at the University of Birmingham and then subsequently his medical training at the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. Having completed his postgraduate training in surgery, including posts in neurosurgery, orthopaedics and general surgery, he obtained his fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS). Following this, he undertook a 5 year training programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the West Midlands Deanery. Completion of this programme and the speciality examination resulted in the award of the speciality Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, FRCS (OMFS).
On completion of his training, Martin then undertook a Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery for 12 months at Birmingham Childrens and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. Martin has been a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2007 and a member of the Craniofacial Unit, Birmingham since 2010.
Martin is active in undergraduate and postgraduate education of Medical and Dental professionals and is an examiner of undergraduate dental students at the University of Birmingham.
