Mr Mohamed Abdel-Aty qualified from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Mr Abdel-Aty completed part of his medical training in the USA, before moving to the UK to undertake gynaecology training in the West Midlands. He then completed his registrar rotation in Worcester, Redditch and at Birmingham Women's Hospital before becoming Senior Registrar at Birmingham Women's Hospital.
Mr Abdel-Aty then took up the post of Consultant Gynaecologist in Worcester before moving to the North West to join the Consultant Gynaecologist team in East Lancashire.
