Mr Neil Jain is a specialist in the treatment of all sports injuries. This includes the keyhole surgical treatment of injuries to the knee, such as ligament and cartilage injury, and shoulder, such as dislocation. In addition he can where appropriate administer non-operative treatments such as injections of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).
He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at The University of Salford. He has a strong research background having been published in many peer reviewed journals and medical textbooks and has in excess of 100 presentations at National and International meetings.
He is an active member of the European Society of Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA) and is a participant of their Education Committee. He is the current Honorary Treasurer for the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma & Arthroscopy Association (BOSTAA).
With a keen interest in sport Mr Jain has worked with a number of sports clubs and associations having collaborated with the Football Association (The FA) with recent projects to help decrease the injury rates in the England National Football team.
