Nick Little graduated from Manchester University, spending his junior doctor training in Perth, Western Australia and Wessex. He completed a Masters degree in Orthopaedic Surgical Science at University College London winning a prestigious scholarship grant from Stanmore Hospital.
He spent his specialist registrar training in the South West Thames region. During this time he undertook a trauma and upper limb fellowship in a level one trauma centre in New Zealand. He has been trained extensively in upper limb surgery by Mr D Mok and other world experts and spent time in Sweden, Germany and USA.
Nick has a keen interest in research and teaching, he has published extensively and presented both nationally and internationally on orthopaedic trauma and shoulder and elbow surgery.
He is an examiner at St Georges Medical School and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education.He organises and runs courses for the training of newly appointed specialist registrars and helps teach other Consultants about shoulder replacement.
