Foot & AnkleDr Pinar joins us from France as a specialist Foot & Ankle surgeon.After obtaining a specialist qualification in foot and ankle surgery, Dr Pinar was appointed Consultant Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University Hospital of Paris, where he was Senior Practitioner and part-time lecturer. He continues to lecture at the University of Paris V. He is also a member of the French Association of Foot and Ankle Surgery (AFCP), for which he regularly participates in French and European congresses. Dr Pinar has a special interest in new surgical techniques, such as minimally invasive procedures of the forefoot. He frequently performs percutaneous surgery for big toe deformities and arthritis, claw toe deformities and Morton's neuroma. He has a particular interest in the treatment of forefoot pain. Dr Pinar's practice also includes the treatment of complex hindfoot and ankle problems. In particular, he treats arthritis, instability of the ankle and tendinitis. He also performs arthroscopy.
