During his final year he completed a National Orthopaedic-Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Hand Surgery at St. James' University Hospital in Leeds and an Upper Limb Trauma Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA. During his training and fellowships working with renowned Hand Specialists in the UK and overseas he mastered skills in hand and wrist surgery with a broad exposure to the management of complex conditions including microsurgery, arthroplasty, key hole surgery and major limb trauma.
