BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy 2:1 classification 2009 Paul excelled as a mature student especially during his time at Wrightington Hospital in the specialty of Elective Orthopaedics in 2008. He graduated in 2009 from University of Salford. Pauls first qualified position in 2009 was at Trafford General in Elective surgery working for BMI healthcare for 12 months. He then accepted a full time position at Southport and Ormskirk NHS trust in 2010. This post involved rotations in Trauma and Elective Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Respiratory Medicine including ITU, gym and outpatients. He secured a Senior Physiotherapist position in 2012 and worked predominantly in Orthopaedics 6 monthly rotations in Trauma, 6 months in elective surgery for over a period of 2 years. Paul gained substantial expertise and experience regarding this specialty and this led to me applying for a senior position at Renacres Hospital which he secured in 2016. He has an excellent rapport and reputation with ward colleagues and a number of Orthopaedic surgeons at Renacres. In addition, he has a profound knowledge of the "patient journey" and the wider healthcare setting within Sefton and West Lancashire. This allows him to provide a thorough and comprehensive in-patient service at Renacres. This includes thorough pre-operative assessment including identifying any therapeutic equipment or community services, excellent inpatient therapy during hospital stay and subesequent follow up therapy as a post-surgical outpatient. Paul adopts a holistic approach to his work with integrity and strive to provide an excellent and informed Physiotherapy service to all his patients.
