Mr Kamath qualified in 1992 from the University of Bombay. He did his higher surgical training on the West Yorkshire Orthopaedic training programme from 2000-2005. He completed a lower limb fellowship at Musgrove Park Hospital in 2005-6 and a foot and ankle fellowship at Leicester General Hospital in 2007. Mr Kamath was appointed as a Consultant in foot and ankle surgery at Peterborough in 2008. Mr Kamath has recently been awarded the American Orthopaedic Society's prestigious Travelling Fellowship for July 2011.
