Mr Durai is a general surgeon with a special interest in Colorectal surgery. During his higher surgical training, he was trained in various hospitals attached to the London Deanery. Subsequent to his registrar training, he spent more than a year in Royal College of Surgeons of England accredited Post CCT fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery and worked as a consultant in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for a year.
Mr Durai also holds an MD from The University of London which was a result of his research in gene therapy in colorectal surgery.
