Mr Wilson has a Doctorate in Vascular Pathology and has published research with the American Heart Association, New York Academy of Science, European Society of Vascular Surgery and the British Journal of Surgery. He was awarded the Founder's Prize and Academic and Research Prize by the Vascular Society of Great Britain and scholarships by the Australian and Japanese Vascular Societies.
