He was a Royal College of Surgeons Research Fellow at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery whilst publishing several papers and book chapters and obtaining a masters and doctoral degrees in neuro-urology. He trained in London at the Hammersmith Hospital Surgical Rotation and the North Thames Deanery from which he graduated as a Urological Surgeon in 2012. He has worked as a Consultant at the Royal Free London. He is the undergraduate tutor for urology at Colchester Hospital and has a postgraduate certificate in medical education.
