Mr Patnaik completed his primary medical degree and postgraduate qualification (MS Orthopaedics) form India in 2000. He subsequently came to the United Kingdom for Higher Surgical Training and completed his MRCS and Diploma in Sport & Exercise Medicine in 2006.
He then developed further subspecialty skills and completed fellowship in Shoulder and Knee surgery at East Surrey Hospital between 2007-2009. He passed his FRCS (Tr & Orth) with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010. He completed his CCT in 2022 and is currently working as a consultant at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
