Mr Ramkumar qualified from India and also did his post graduate training in Orthopaedics there. Soon afterwards he came to UK and obtained primary FRCS in 2002. He underwent registrar training in different subspecialties in orthopaedics and trauma. This included DePuy Knee fellowship at PAH, Harlow where he developed skills in knee and hip replacements. He completed his surgical training and did the FRCS Tr & Orth exam in 2009. He was appointed as Locum Consultant at PAH, Harlow in 2011 and as Substantive Consultant in 2016. He has been performing high volume of hip and knee replacements at PAH, Harlow from 2007 and has performed over 2000 joint replacements. Mr Ramkumar also specialises in complex trauma involving upper and lower limbs. He has dedicated lists in his NHS practice to deal with complex trauma.
