Will Green qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 2007, having already gained a first class degree in Neuroscience in 2003. He completed surgical and urological training in the East Midlands, and was awarded an MPhil in prostate cancer biomarkers from the Jon Van Geest Cancer Research Centre.
Will finished training in 2017 and successfully applied for a bladder cancer fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, Western Australia where he spent 12 months learning specialist cystectomy surgery. He was appointed as a Consultant Urologist at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust in 2018 and since 2020 has been an Honorary Assistant Professor at Nottingham University Medical School.
Will is also the joint clinical lead for Research and Innovation for the Cancer and Associated Specialities Division of NUH, where he continues to run national and international clinical trials.
