The International Standard for Safe Aseptic Technique

ANTT High Res

The Association for Safe Aseptic Practice provides support to practitioners, healthcare organisations, industry and patients in the education and clinical practice of ANTT®, the world’s most commonly used aseptic technique.

ANTT is supported by evidence and highlights the key components involved in maintaining asepsis and aims to standardise practice. The four main principles of ANTT are to always wash hands effectively, to never contaminate key parts, to touch non-key parts with confidence, and to take appropriate infective precautions.

By achieving this accreditation, it shows that our sites are consistently working to offer the safest, high quality care to our patients.
