Duchy Hospital

I had my surgery on 1st of October and felt like a VIP for the time I was there. From the ladies providing the supper and breakfast, and the caring, dedicated nursing team constantly checking on me, for whom nothing was too much trouble, to the lovely Chris Smith (anaesthetist) putting my mind at rest before the procedure. The warm, genuinely caring theatre staff upon my arrival to the 'table'. Franny who has the 'pleasure' of removing my stitches and re-dressing surgery sites, and, of course, the nicest, most caring consultant surgeon I have ever met, Mrs Rebecca Dunlop, who has given me my confidence and self esteem back. Thank you to all of you.

All staff from consultant to nursing were kind, considerate and caring .They were efficient and through in their manner and explanations of procedures and answers to my enquires.

I approached Duchy hospital for an appointment regarding a knee issue. Within three weeks I’d seen Mr Lee, a fantastic Surgeon, had an MRI and had my surgery. Mr Lee’s administration services are exceptionally well organised, with nothing being too much trouble. Every member of staff within Duchy was fantastic, the radiographers, the nursing team, the physios and the theatre team were all professional, knowledgeable but also wonderfully warm and friendly. All non-clinical staff were equally attentive with nothing being too much trouble, no question left unanswered and the catering team providing a wonderful choice of food to meet every need. Thank you Duchy for providing ease of service, care and comfort within a safe environment, a wonderful team.

My room was very pleasant and clean. Everyone treated me with respect and common courtesy, and I had trust in my surgeon.

ALL staff throughout my stay were kind, caring put me at ease, and nothing was too much trouble. Great service and humours I felt everyone had time for me and listened to me.
