Transgender Services at Mount Stuart Hospital

Chest reconstruction is available as an out-patient procedure with various options including keyhole or peri-areolar approaches, or a double incision technique.

Breast augmentation can also be performed on-site with a variety of implants to suit your specific needs and desires. 

Experienced, and friendly, professionalism

Our multi-disciplinary team offers a range of services at the clinics relaxed and friendly premises, helping to put patients at ease. The experienced staff are knowledgeable about MTF surgery and FTM surgery and will be on hand to answer any questions you have about your operation.

Accessibility

The clinic is easily accessible by road and public transport (either by bus, or rail then taxi), with parking available. MTF surgery and FTM surgery are usually conducted as out-patient procedures although many beds are available should it be in your best interests to stay overnight for monitoring.

Follow-up appointments can be made to help you during your recovery from gender confirmation surgery and clinic staff will be available to address any concerns you may have over both the short-term effects of your procedure and any desired revision surgery.
