Mr Nik Vasdev chief investigator for ground-breaking urine test that can spot bladder cancer

Fantastic work from Mr Nikhil Vasdev, Consultant Urological & Robotic Surgeon, who is helping pilot a urine test for Primary Care that can spot bladder cancer after it proved 100 per cent accurate in trials.

The pioneering liquid biopsy could replace the dipstick test currently used by GPs as a first check for the life-threatening condition.

Nik is the chief investigator for the latest study and believes the new test could change the entire process of diagnosing bladder cancer.

Well done Nik and fantastic to have you as part of the team at Pinehill Hospital.
