General Health Screen

Our general Health Screen gives you an overview of your current health and wellbeing, it will identify any health issues you may or may not be aware of such as diabetes, blood pressure or high cholesterol. We offer two further screenings, they include further test and scans.

Before commencing your Health Screen, there is a thorough questionnaire to complete. This helps us understand all factors influencing your current health status and future risk of developing certain lifestyle diseases, so we can provide a strong foundation for you to make positive changes.

Using up to date testing technology, our Private GP will guide you through a comprehensive range of tests and health issues highlighted in your Medical questionnaire. Your particular concerns regarding health, fitness or lifestyle can be discussed during this appointment.

A written report will be sent to you shortly after the screening which can be shared as appropriate.

What is included in your General Health Screen:

Up to 50 Minute appointment with our Private GP and nursing staff.

  • Height, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen level & weight measurements
  • Body mass Index (BMI) calculation
  • Urine Dipstick
  • Basic Blood tests including:
  • Diabetes check
  • Cholesterol
  • Full Blood Count
  • Biochemistry profile for Liver and Kidney Function
  • Prostate Cancer screening (PSA for men only)
  • Ovarian Cancer screening (CA125 for Women only)
  • Ferritin to check Iron levels
  • Thyroid function test
  • C-Reactive Protein (CRP) to check for inflammation in the body
  • Calcium
