Patients often come to us if they don't want to wait for their MRI scan on the NHS however sometimes it can be a struggle to get an initial GP appointment and referral for the MRI scan.
You can now visit our experienced and well-respected local Private GP and have your MRI scan as part of one package.
What does the package include?
- An initial consultation appointment with our Private GP who will make the MRI referral to our radiography department
- MRI scan carried out at Renacres Hospital
- A follow up appointment with our Private GP to receive the scan results.

How long is the process?
Our private GP offers fast access with regular appointment times, the referral will be made on the same day to the radiography department. Our highly qualified radiologists endeavour to report on your MRI scan and send your report to your referring doctor as quickly as possible to support your diagnosis and allow treatment planning, if required.
