Paul has worked here at Renacres since 2016. Special interest in elective orthopaedic surgery. Senior Inpatient lead therapist 2018 - 2021. Physiotherapy Manager January 2022 to date.
Paul is also a Level 4 trained safeguarding lead and is the DSE assessor for the Hospital. Currently working closely with the head of Clinical services, outpatient teams and the ward in delivering a comprehensive enhanced recovery service following joint replacement surgery. This has allowed many of our patients to be discharged the day after surgery.
Cath Morris is one of our physiotherapists at Renacres Hospital who is acupuncture trained and has a special interest in hands. Cath has worked with adults with young onset dementia, in a horticulture setting; worked in a school for boys with behavioural difficulties and set up a horticulture project for young adults with learning difficulties. Senior MSK Physiotherapist - Anna joined the Renacres team on a permanent basis in 2022 following several years as Bank Physiotherapist here at Renacres. She is a much-valued member of the team with excellent diverse outpatient clinical skills. Recent completion of advanced shoulder courses has really enhanced the quality of Shoulder assessment and treatment for our patients. Anna is our lead Physiotherapy clinician for upper limb pathology. Anna also enjoys working on the ward with inpatients one day per week. Acupuncture trained.
Senior MSK Physiotherapist - Chris joined our team in March 2022 on a permanent full time basis. This followed many years working in the independent sector as senior Physiotherapist. He is currently our Manual handling trainer for the hospital and a valuable member of the team. Chris has a wide range of experience and broad knowledge outpatient skills. Regularly works well between the ward and Physio department. Chris also runs our post surgical Total Knee replacement classes.
Senior MSK Physiotherapist - Ruth joined us in 2021 and has a wealth of experience working in an MSK outpatient setting. Ruth has recently expanded her vast skill set and is also now a developing hand therapist. She is our Equality and Diversity lead within the department and a real asset for the team working 3 days in outpatients and 1 day on the ward. Acupuncture trained.
