Our facilities

Direct dial telephone, Sky TV and radio are available in all rooms for your and your visitor's comfort. Meals are served in your room and comprise a superb selection of dishes, all freshly prepared. Free car parking and disabled access is also available. 

The clinical facilities of the hospital are monitored to ensure that we offer the very best service. In addition a High Dependency Unit is available for patients requiring particularly close monitoring.

Operating theatres

West Midlands Hospital has a modern theatre complex comprising two operating theatres one with laminar air flow and a separate dedicated endoscopy. 

The theatres are equipped for a wide range of surgery, including minimal access procedures.

Wards

West Midlands Hospital has 34 en-suite rooms with digital televisions and telephones. 

We have dedicated, highly qualified staff experienced in a wide range of specialities. Prior to admission into hospital your patients will be advised as to how they can help prevent infection and if required, be screened for MRSA via the Pre-operative Assessment Service.

Cleanliness and preventing infection is a key part of delivering good clinical care. At West Midlands Hospital we start with the basics, ensuring our housekeeping staff are well trained and have the best tools for the job to ensure patient rooms and all areas of our hospital are clean and dust free and this is personally overseen by our Ward Manager and Support Services Manager.
