I am a substantive consultant haematologist at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro where I lead for research and blood transfusion. I have been practicing haematology privately at the Duchy Hospital since 2021 where I am also a member of the medical advisory committee.
I practice general haematology with a special interest in leukaemia and lymphoma as well as clinical research.
I am a member of several national committees for the management of lymphoma research (BSH, NIHR). I am the joint regional specialty lead for haematology research for the NIHR research delivery network and the interim Director of Research and Development for the Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust.
Since commencing my first substantive consultant post in January 2019 I have led research as principal investigator on over twenty clinical trials and am now chief investigator on several Phase III of bi-specific antibody therapy in Non-Hodgkin lymphoma; I have won three national awards for clinical research and published in several peer-reviewed journal papers and proceedings including The Lancet and The British Journal of Haematology. I have co-authored and published over fifty peer reviewed articles and papers with a particular interest in lymphoma.
I am able to offer diagnostic and treatment advice for a range of blood conditions.
I live locally, in Truro with my family.
