Dr Gray provides general healthcare in the capacity of an experienced GP and Women's Health assessment and treatment in the capacity of a specialist in her field. She works with local practices to provide quality services within the NHS. For 15 years she ran a specialist referral clinic, but this was decommissioned in 2016 to produce financial savings. She has worked privately at Duchy Hospital for nearly 20 years and is able to offer an appointment most weeks. She provides an initial assessment appointment which is much longer than your GP is able offer to understand your problem, your background and your preferences. She will explain what she believes to be the cause of your problem and offer treatment options with their various pros and cons. The aim is to arrive at an agreed and understood plan. She will send you a summary of this discussion by email (or post if you prefer). Follow up appointments to review and modify as necessary are generally agreed at three months initially and then once a year if you want ongoing support. These usually allow 20-25 minutes but longer can be planned if you need it.
