Dr Baricevic completed his cardiology training and developed sub-speciality skills in the areas of intensive cardiac care and interventional cardiology in Croatia, before moving to the UK in 2018. Having worked as a consultant in the largest tertiary cardiac centre in Croatia, he gained extensive experience in echocardiography (for which he holds EACVI accreditation), advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support (heart pumps) and heart transplantation. Since January 2018 he works as a cardiology consultant at the Royal Cornwall Hospital and, in addition to general cardiology and imaging activities, actively contributes to provision of complex and high-risk coronary procedures.
