Mr Cruickshank, BSc (Hons), MBChB, MRCS, FRCS (Tr & Orth) is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Knee Surgery. Mr Cruickshank graduated from University of Leeds Medical School and undertook specialist Orthopaedic surgical training in the Yorkshire deanery.

Following this he completed two prestigious knee surgery fellowships at Harrogate and Royal Derby Hospitals working with leading surgeons. Through his fellowships he gained expertise in knee surgery including sports injuries, joint replacement and arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery using modern techniques.

His specialist interest lies in all aspects of knee surgery including joint replacement (both total and partial knee replacements) and soft tissue (ligament, meniscus, cartilage).

Mr Cruickshank has written and contributed to peer reviewed publications, book chapters and presented both nationally and internationally.
