Areas of specialist practice include laparoscopic and open surgery for cancer, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulosis, haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas. Also the medical and surgical management of functional bowel disorders such as obstructive defaecation syndrome, slow transit constipation, faecal incontinence, rectal prolapse, occult prolapse and irritable bowel syndrome. Mrs Feldman is the Colorectal Cancer lead clinician at RCHT and also the South West Network lead for colorectal cancer.During the last 10 years in the Royal Cornwall hospital she has been the surgical governance lead and has a specific interest in governance and safety.
