My particular medical interests are in musculoskeletal medicine, headache diagnosis, support and management and integrative medicine. I particularly like a patient centred focus of care and strongly believe that the core principles of General Practitioners as Family Doctors should be in empowering patients to take responsibility for their health. In this respect it is fundamental to have timely and convenient access to good quality health information and advice and to have sufficient time with patients to support this process. Continuity of care is key. This is not something I have been able to provide in my role within the NHS and I am looking towards creating opportunities to offer patients the care they need and deserve.
