Dr Fraser-Andrews studied medicine at Cambridge University and St. Thomas's Hospital, London. She gained her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Dermatology in 2004, following specialist registrar posts at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, University Hospital Lewisham and Essex County Hospital, Colchester.
She also undertook laboratory-based research into cutaneous lymphomas between 1996 and 1998 at the Skin Tumour Unit, St John’s Institute of Dermatology, presenting the results of this research at national and international dermatology meetings. Dr Fraser-Andrews was appointed as Consultant Dermatologist in Colchester in 2004, and then at West Suffolk Hospital in 2012.
