Academic Background

Mr Alex Jones is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to enhance the breasts, body and face. He has both NHS and Private practices, which enables him to provide high quality care for patients with cancer and following trauma, as well as for those who are considering purely aesthetic or cosmetic procedures.

Within his NHS practice, Mr Jones is the lead senior plastic surgery clinician for head, neck and facial reconstruction, and for breast reconstruction for patients following mastectomy as part of their cancer management.

In the aesthetic/cosmetic arena, Mr Jones has built up a strong reputation for creating individualised, safe and effective surgical plans for patients wishing to enhance the face, body and breasts. He works closely with patients to ensure there is understanding between patient and surgeon to maximise the chances of achieving the aims and objectives each patient wants, while maintaining realistic expectations of what can likely be achieved.

Mr Jones has regular busy clinics and operating lists at Tees Valley Hospital, where the hospital and staff can support a cohesive package of care for each patient. Patients considering cosmetic procedures are seen on at least two separate occasions within the single consultation fee. There is sufficient downtime allowed in between assessment and treatment to ensure that patients are certain about their treatment plans, and that both patient and surgeon are clear on the goals. Aftercare is an important element of the surgical journey and the team at Tees Valley have built up a strong reputation for providing excellent support for their patients before and after surgery.
