Mr Leung is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon whose practice is solely in spinal surgery. He has a keen interest in spinal trauma and adult spinal deformity, in addition to degenerative spinal conditions.
Mr Leung graduated from the University of Glasgow, and subsequently trained in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in the West of Scotland programme. After being enrolled into the GMC Specialist Register, he completed complex spinal fellowships at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
He is actively involved in research and teaching, including as faculty in national spinal trauma courses. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer of the University of Birmingham.
