Mr Jamie Flanagan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising knee surgery, arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction and knee pain following replacement surgery.

Mr Flanagan has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 1985. He qualified in Belfast and worked as a junior doctor in Exeter, Bristol, Bath and London before spending time abroad in the Canadian Arctic, Barbados and New Zealand. He joined the Orthopaedic Training Programme at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and was appointed as Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford in 1985. Mr Flanagan has a special research interest with the Anglia Ruskin University into patients with ongoing knee pain following total knee replacement.
