Mr Jaspal S Virdi is an Experience Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in prostate diseases at the Rivers Hospital in Hertfordshire
Diseases relating to bladder, prostate, and testis Prostate cancer screening for Raised PSA, providing advance minimally invasive curative treatments such as Cryotherapy (Freeze) Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) with or without Retention of Urine delivering treatments such as Rezum (Water Vapour Ablation) , Urolift (Metal Clips Insertion), Resection of Prostate (TURP) using plasma kinetic energy's, Chronic prostatitis, Male and Female Voiding Disorders including Urinary Infection. Urinary stone management including shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), laser lithotripsy, PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy) and investigations as to the cause of stone disease.
Mr Virdi will see children from 3 yrs.+ for urological disorder Mr Virdi will see patients from 1 yrs.

Mr Jaspal Virdi achieved his Master's in surgery and M.Ch in Urology. He completed FRCS England in 1981. Mr Virdi gained further experience in urology working at The Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, The Royal Infirmary Cardiff, St Vincent Hospital, Dublin, and University College Hospitals London. On completion of urology training, he gained FRCS (Urol) and FEBU (Fellow of European Board). He established the Department of Urology (Associate Professor in Urology) at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences at Kashmir, India and Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, Harlow, Essex. He has presented and published numerous works on prostate diseases at international urology congresses and gained training and certification in brachytherapy and cryotherapy to treat prostate cancer in USA.
