Mr Dhingra completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Oxford in 2000. Following this, he has completed nine years of post-graduate specialty training working throughout eye hospitals within Oxfordshire, Birmingham, London and Sheffield.

In addition to this, he was presented with the ‘Fight for Sight Clinical Fellowship award’ to research advances in glaucoma surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London for three years. He is currently completing his PhD thesis on scarring in glaucoma surgery.Subsequently, he has further enhanced his specialist glaucoma training by joining the prestigious clinical glaucoma fellowship program at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

He was appointed as a consultant ophthalmologist in Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2013 and has also started private practice at the Fitzwilliam Hospital.
