Prof Baker specialises in the treatment of hip and knee conditions requiring joint replacement surgery including osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, avascular necrosis and post traumatic arthritis.
He performs knee replacement surgery including partial, total and revision knee replacement procedures and hip replacement surgery including cemented and hybrid total hip replacement procedures.
Prof Baker is the current clinical lead for the regional Major Revision Centre at South Tees NHS Trust and specialises in knee revisions and the treatment of prosthetic joint infections.
